ITV The Chase’s Mark Labbett was accused of disliking a player in this evening’s episode of the popular quizzing show.
Teacher Liam went up against Mark ‘the Beast’ Labbett this evening, and after cracking jokes ahead of his cash builder round, viewers were convinced the Chaser wasn’t impressed with him.
Liam got £2,000 in his cash builder before facing Mark.
During their head to head, Mark told the player to focus on his answers and less on his “punch lines”.
On Twitter, viewers shared their thoughts.
Cece said: “Mark does NOT like this guy.
“He is super-annoying though! Trying to be a funny guy!”
After the Beast answered a question incorrectly while Liam got it right, one viewer said: “That's the way to beat a chaser on #TheChase wind them up and they get simple things wrong.”
Though some viewers were on the Beast’s side.
India said: “Catch him Mark. Too cocky by half.”
Jack said: “I always want the contestants to win but not Liam! I hope he gets crushed and @MarkLabbett does his mwah ha ha laugh”
