Paul Sinha said that he was distracted by one of the worst shirts he had ever seen on ITV show The Chase.
The 49-year-old quizzer told contestant Tim his choice of outfit was in the top ten worst shirts.
Speaking to the 58-year-old from Cheshire, he said: "I am just a little bit distracted, because with a quizzers brain, I am just ranking the ten worst shirts I have seen in my life and you are in at number seven."
Tim had opted for a vibrant shirt with a tropical theme of colourful parrots and green palm tree leaves.
He took The Sinnerman's jibe well and when he went head-to-head after banking £5,000 in the cash builder, he said: "Can I just say, my shirt at number seven, I thought that was an insult, I should be at number one."
But Paul disagreed, he said: "Obviously, you haven't seen as many bad shirts as I have over the years."
Host Bradley Walsh said: "Some of them belonging to me, no doubt."
Tim's shirt didn't go unoticed by viewers at home, many commenting on it before Paul pointed it out.

Unfortunately, the shirt didn't distract the chaser enough and Tim was caught and left with nothing.
