ITV The Chase's Mark Labbett sends warning to contestant after comment

Mark Labbett sent a sinister warning to a contestant on The Chase today after she made a comment about one of his offers.

Helen, Rob, Michael and Debbie were on the show today hoping to win a big cash prize.

Up first was 28-year-old Michael who works as a payroll specialist in Reading.

Michael, who wanted to spend his winnings on a nice car, had a brilliant cash builder, as he answered questions with ease and scored a solid £7,000.

It was then time for Michael to face The Beast in the head-to-head as he offered a number of cash prizes.

Mark gave Michael a high offer of £27,000 and as is customary Michael asked his fellow Chase contestants for their opinion.

Helen and Rob urged Michael to stick with the £7,000, saying they didn't know what form The Beast was going to be in.

Debbie also agreed Michael should remain at £7,000, telling him £27,000 isn't a good enough offer.

Offended at the comment, The Beast responded: "So Debbie reckons £27,000 isn't enough? I'll take note of that."

Unfortunately, Michael, who opted for the £7,000, was knocked out by Mark, leaving Debbie next to face him.

In her cash builder, Debbie managed £3,000, much to the delight of The Beast.

He said: "Good afternoon Debbie, I think you should think again about Australia because the only thing going down under is this team's chances of winning."

As he offered Debbie the low option of £300, The Beast said: "Well you thought £27,000 wasn't good enough, so £30,000."

But even this wasn't enough to tempt Debbie who chose to stick with her £3,000.

Fans of the show had a similar reaction to Debbie's comments.

Steve tweeted: "The £27,000 high offer is not enough, Debbie?!"

Another wrote: "27k not enough? She’ll be taking the low then."

And a third said: "27K is not enough?"
