ITV The Chase's Mark Labbett hits out at viewers after contestant takes minus offer

The Chase's Mark Labbett hit out at complaining viewers after a contestant took the minus offer.

In an earlier round of the show, Lynn had managed to secure £35,000 in the head-to-head round.

But her fellow contestants Hollie and Shamus had been knocked out.

It was on Ian, as the last contestant to face The Beast, to make it back safely and help Lynn out in the final round.

However, he was tasked with a difficult decision after securing £6,000 in the cash-builder.

The Beast had offered Ian a minus offer of -£5,000, £6,000 and a high offer of £65,000.

But Lynn told Ian: "Don't do the 65, six grand absolutely amazing but minus five come back here.

"I can't do it own my own."

Mark then declared: "This girl understands this game.

"15 grand versus 20-and-a-half if you put that on those numbers on the board you wouldn't think twice."

Ian decided on the -£5,000, despite his concerns.

The Beast then said: "You do get a group of people at home on the Internet who say 'I would never take the low offer or minus offer.

"Give me a bible and I'll happily swear on it, I would take the negative low offer in the right circumstances."
