ITV The Chase's Mark Labbett fumes at contestant for making 'insulting' Jenny Ryan comment

The Chase's Mark Labbett hit out at a contestant for making an 'insulting' comment about Jenny Ryan.

Lucy, a charity worker from Leeds, was hoping to win big to help fund a trip to Italy with her partner.

During the cash-builder, she secured a decent £4000 - more than enough money for a trip to the European country.

The 28-year-old was then asked by host Bradley Walsh which Chaser she would like to face.

Controversially, Lucy said: "I'd love to taken on The Vixen. She's not too much older than me, but I think her knowledge isn't quite as good.

"So I reckon I would have a good chance of winning."

It was then revealed she would be facing The Beast, who made it clear he wasn't happy with her insult.

He said: "Do you want to know how good The Vixen is?

"She is way better than you and I'm going to whoop you for that comment."

Mark then added: "I've just got a note from back stage, two words, 'destroy her'".

And The Beast kept to his promise, as he rattled Lucy enough to knock her out of the competition when she was just two from home.

Mark said: "On behalf of both Jenny and myself ta-ra...

"You insult one of us, you insult us all."
