ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh wowed as player gives him money in show first

Bradley Walsh was wowed as The Chase got off to an unexpected start.

The 62-year-old presenter returned to front Wednesday's edition of the popular ITV game show. Miles, April, Sam and Ross were testing their wits against Mark Labbett in a bid to win a huge cash prize.

Miles was up in seat one and the 48-year-old impressed Bradley when he revealed he worked as a magician. The quizzer showed off his skills as he performed a trick before his cash-builder.

Miles took a £10 note off the host and performed some sleight of hand to transform it into a £50 note. Bradley has hosted the show since 2009 and saw thousands of players take home huge cash prizes.

However, he was thrilled as he was handed some money as he said: "I love this job. It's the greatest job in the world."

Miles put in an impressive display to bag £7,000 in the cash-builder before he successfully navigated his way past The Beast. However, The Chaser was in imperious form and eliminated all his teammates.

Miles built up 18 steps in the Final Chase and left empty-handed as he was caught by Mark with 14 seconds remaining.
