ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh taken aback as player shares 'unusual' job

Bradley Walsh was taken aback by a player's job on The Chase.

The 62-year-old presenter welcomed four new quizzers on today's edition of the popular ITV programme. Fred, Ellie, Jas and Edward were testing their wits against Mark Labbett on the final episode of the week.

The team started off in imperious form as both Fred and Ellie booked their place in the last round with £6,000 each. They were followed by Jas in seat three, who impressed Bradley with her "unusual" career choice.

The 34-year-old said: "I'm a magician and I also work for a bank." Bradley was wowed by the job as he asked what kind of magic she performs.

Jas added: "I do close-up like walking around and getting in people's faces." Bradley also probed Jas on her favourite trick.

She said: "There's one I do where it ends up with a spider appearing on someone's hand. I did it on my boss once and he was not impressed."

Jas wanted to buy a rare deck of playing cards with any cash and proceeded to put in a superb display as she built up another £6,000 before navigating her way past The Beast.

Mark was facing a full house in the last round as Edward also booked his spot in the last round. The team were competing for a total of £25,000 and built up 24 steps after a formidable display.

The Chaser was unable to catch the team as he only built up 18 steps so the players left with the cash prize.
