ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh stops show to correct The Chaser's 'blunder'

The Chase host Bradley Walsh stopped a contestant's head-to-head round to correct The Chaser.

Simon, from Chigwell, was on the show to win enough money to treat his family to a weekend at Centre Parcs.

The 64-year-old, had a decent cash builder, earning a solid £5,000.

Choosing to stick with the money he won, it was revealed that Simon would be taking on The Dark Destroyer.

During the head-to-head, the pair were asked which board game has players try and identify specific words from their teammates' drawings.

The correct answer was 'Pictionary', which both Simon and Shaun Wallace answered correctly.

Shaun said: "Besides Pictionary, the best board game out there is Scrabble."

While Simon nodded his head, preparing to move onto the next question - Bradley stopped the round.

Bradley corrects Shaun (ITV)

He corrected Shaun, saying he forgot to add The Chase's own board game and asked The Chaser to repeat what he said.

However, Shaun ignored his request and said: "Besides Pictionary, the best board game out there is Scrabble."

Rather than moving on, Bradley insisted that whilst Shaun may have said Scrabble, he actually meant The Chase board game and Scrabble.

Bradley stood firm and waited for Shaun to say what he said for the third time along with the added conclusion.

In the end, The Dark Destroyer relented and gave into Bradley's demand.
