ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh questions if player should 'seek help' after response

Bradley Walsh was baffled by a player's response on today's episode of The Chase.

The 61-year-old presenter welcomed four new quizzers on Monday's edition of the popular ITV gameshow.

Amanda, Alan, Paawan and Tom were testing their wits against Paul Sinha in a bid to win a cash prize.

Amanda was up in seat 1 and the school business manager from Colchester revealed she was an escape room aficionado in her spare time.

Bradley was confused by the hobby and asked if she ever gets scared.

The 38-year old contestant responded: "No, the next one I want to do is to be trapped in a room with a zombie.

"The chain gets longer as the hour goes on and the zombie can get you as you try to solve the clues. Trust me, it is more fun than it sounds."

Bradley was perplexed by the response and asked her plans if she emerged victorious from today's show.

He joked: "What are you gonna do with it? Other than seeking help."

Amanda proceeded to build up £8,000 in an impressive cash-builder, but The Sinnerman put in an imperious showing and caught her when she was three steps away from home.

Paul Sinha was at his formidable best on Monday's episode and also prevented Paawan and Tom from making it to the final round.

This meant he was taking on Alan in the last round, who was competing for an overall £9,000.

The retired IT consultant built up 18 steps in the Final Chase and The Sinnerman was unable to catch him - meaning he left with the cash prize.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITV Hub
