ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh left stunned by contestant's cheeky correction

The Chase's Bradley Walsh was left stunned by contestant's cheeky correction.

Barry, Joel, Eve and Nick were all hoping for their fair share of the cash prize today as they took on The Dark Destroyer.

Up first was Barry from Sale, who stunned Bradley with his admission.

Introducing him to the show Bradley said: "Welcome to the show Barry, from Sale."

The 75-year-old replied: "From Sale in Cheshire yeah and it's Lord Barry actually but I don't like to step on my title."

Bradley said: "Is it really?"

Lord Barry said: "It's because I own a square metre of a forest in Glencoe in Scotland and I'm allowed to call myself a Lord.

"And it comes in very useful when booking exclusive restaurants."

However, Bradley and the producers had their own fun when they changed his name from Barry to Lord Barry on the podium.

This saw viewers become hysterical as they took to Twitter.

Paul joked: "Is he a real Lord or one of those you buy off the internet for £15?"

Gary said: "Lord Barry wtf?"

TWJ tweeted: "He didn't even have to be asked before he came out with that Lord."

Helen said: "Lord Barry really?"

Another wrote: "Insisting on having ‘Lord’ put on your name and getting everyone to use it."

But Kloe thought it was hilarious.

She said: "THEY ACTUALLY USED LORD BARRY FOR HIS NAME!!! Now that is the definition of quality TV."

And MissLionHeart said: "If Lord Barry can have a title, then so can I! From now on you must call me Princess Consuela Banana-Hammock."

Whilst Lord Barry, Joel and Nick made it through to the final round, they couldn't compete against Shaun Wallace - losing out on £15k.
