ITV The Chase's Bradley Walsh issues three word verdict to describe Wirral

Bradley Walsh used three words to describe Wirral on today's episode of The Chase.

The 62-year-old welcomed four new quizzers on Thursday's edition of the popular ITV game show. Emily, Sam, Ailsa and Colin were testing their wits against Paul Sinha in a bid to win a cash prize.

The team put in a superb performance as the first three players progressed past The Sinnerman to add £14,000 to the cash haul. Colin was in seat four and the retired bus driver hoped to make it a full house in the Final Chase.

Colin hailed from Heswall and proceeded to build up £5,000 in an impressive cash-builder. However, the 69-year-old was eliminated after a tense head-to-head with the Chaser.

Paul admitted Colin was dealt a bad hand with some tough questions as he said: "Colin is the first player today who had less luck than I did."

Bradley issued a parting message to Colin as he exited the show and heaped praise on Wirral. He said: "Give my love to everyone on the Wirral. Fine old place I must say."

The team underperformed in the Final Chase as they built up just 13 steps. They left empty handed as The Sinnerman caught them with 39 seconds remaining.
