Martin was up in seat 1 and Bradley was wowed when the 52-year-old coach driver revealed he was also an actor who had appeared in a film.

The 52-year-old said: "I've been an actor for most of my life. I had one line on Outlander so that was good fun and I've done some feature films as well. We shot one in Bulgaria where we built the Colosseum."

An impressed Bradley declared it as "fantastic" before The Chaser branded him a " movie star ".

The Vixen warned: "You had one line on Outlander. You're gonna have a bigger part on this show, but not by much though."

Martin was hoping to earn some money to visit his wife and dog in Japan.

He built up £5,000 in an impressive cash builder before confidently navigating his way through to the Final Chase.

Martin was joined in the final round by Jayesh and Lucia to compete for an overall £16,000.

The team built up 17 steps in the Final Chase, but were caught by Jenny with 12 seconds remaining - meaning they left empty-handed.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITV Hub
