ITV The Chase player's head in hands after embarrassing slip-up

Viewers were left unimpressed with tonight's episode of The Chase after watching possibly the worst performance ever.

Only one player made it to the final chase tonight and his performance left viewers feeling "sorry" for him.

Chris, from Derby, managed £6,000 in his cash builder round and made it through to the final chase.

But the episode, which was a repeat, saw his three teammates fail in their head to heads against Jenny 'the Vixen' Ryan.

In the final chase, Chris got just six questions correct and was so embarrassed, he covered his face with his hands when he saw his score.

Host Bradley Walsh looked amused, but Jenny said she understood it was hard to do the final chase alone.

The Chaser was able to catch him with one minute and 36 seconds remaining.

Viewers were unimpressed with the episode, branding it a "waste".
