ITV The Chase player changes name as he confesses dream job

Bosses on The Chase changed a contestant's name live on the show as he revealed his dream job to host Bradley Walsh.

Call centre worker Aidan, 29, chatted to Bradley before going up against The Sinnerman, Paul Sinha, who was tonight's Chaser.

Aidan from Leeds said that he was a huge wrestling fan and watched wrestling in the UK and America.

His love of wrestling even extended to the plan for his winnings on the show and he said that if he won some cash he would take a career break and train to be a professional wrestler.

Aidan said his wrestling name would be "The force of nature", which Bradley loved.

His name on the team panel was then changed to "Force" with Bradley only addressing him as that as the show continued.

Force got £6,000 in his cash builder and decided to play for that as he went up against The Chaser.

Amazingly his final question to get back to his team was all about wrestling, with The Sinnerman in disbelief.

Force obviously got the question right and returned to his team with Bradley saying: "It's written in the stars that kind of luck."

The Chaser said that Force had done well and might be good in the final chase, he then said: "But for now team may the force be with you."

And viewers at home were quick to comment on the name change and his unbelievable luck.

Lee Savery said: "Wrestling fan gets a @ DMcIntyreWWE question to go through. Madness. They've even changed his name to Force # TheChase "

Mike said: "They've changed his name to Force (crying laughing emoji)"

Steve Lynn said: "What a name and what a great fella. Go on the boy Force."

And Liam James said: "Changing his name on the panel for this guy to his nickname ‘Force’ is just the best banter!"

*The Chase continues at 5pm on ITV on Monday
