The Chase's Mark Labbett hit back at a contestant today who was described as the "best ever".
Fellow contestant Karen was left extremely impressed with Lucy's performance on The Chase.
The 38-year-old from Essex managed to scoop an impressive £6,000 in the cash-builder.
Given a option in the high-thousands by The Beast in the head-to-head, Lucy's teammates urged her to take it.
Karen said: "You're the best player I've ever seen!"
According to the Daily Star , Lucy looked flattered by the compliment, but Mark said: "The best player you've ever seen?
"She's probably the best player here today. Good players get 10, not six."
Luckily, Lucy took the comments in her stride, and managed to make it through to the final with £6,000 in her pocket.
However, The Beast was on top form today as he beat Lucy and Martin's score of 10 in the final round within 50 seconds.
