ITV The Chase host Bradley Walsh replaced as security called in

Viewers were left a little confused as The Chase's Bradley Walsh was briefly replaced - until security was called in.

Comedian Joe Pasquale took up the presenter's spot at the top of a special edition of the programme confusing viewers at home.

Then the camera panned to Bradley who was sitting in the director's chair backstage and called in security who chased Joe across the stage.

It was all part of a new spin off show called The Chase: The Bloopers and included snippets and unseen footage, reports the Liverpool Echo.

One moment included Bradley trying to keep it together when faced with the question: "The breakfast food known in Scotland as 'tattie scones' go by what name in Ireland?" "A. Fadge, B. Menge, or C. Clonge."

People at home loved the chance at seeing what goes on in between takes on the ITV show and took to Twitter to share their thoughts and favourite moments.
