ITV The Chase host Bradley Walsh in stitches over cheeky question

The Chase host Bradley Walsh is known for breaking into giggles during the show and tonight he couldn't hold back his laughter when a cheeky question appeared.

Tonight was a celebrity special with four celebrities competing to win cash for their chosen charities.

Swimmer Mark Foster was first up on the show and managed to score £5,000 in his cash builder.

He went up against The Dark Destroyer, Shaun Wallace, who was tonight's Chaser.

Mark was tempted to go for the higher offer of £35,000 but decided to opt for the £5,000 in order to get back to his team.

Everything was going well for Mark but he and Bradley were both shaken by the question: "Groaty Dick is a type of what?"

The pair both burst into laughter, with the rest of the team and The Chaser also smiling wryly at the question.

The options were a traditional meal, a musical instrument or a medical condition.

Mark and Bradley continued to laugh and Bradley acted out a conversation he might have with a doctor.

He said: "'wWhat's wrong Brad?' 'oh just got a touch of the groaty dick doc'"

That left the studio audience giggling as well as swimmer Mark.

Mark opted for the answer of traditional meal, which proved to be correct, as did The Chaser, but viewers at home were quick to comment on the incident.

Tasha said: "Hands up who googled Groaty Dick?"

Mike Fisher said: "You won't catch ME ordering a groaty dick at a restaurant!"

And many more just shared crying laughing emojis after the question.

Groaty dick is a traditional dish from the Black Country made from soaked groats, beef, leeks, onion and beef stock which are baked together at a moderate temperature of approximately 150 °C for up to 16 hours.

In the Black Country it is traditional to eat groaty pudding on Guy Fawkes Night.

*The Chase continues on Monday at 5pm on ITV
