The Chase fans were unimpressed tonight after one contestant made a strange choice on the show.
Labourer Gareth, 45, spoke to Bradley about how he was building a fairy garden for his step grandchildren and how his dream was to have a hot dog stand on a beach at Polzeath.
Gareth got £5k in his cash builder and opted to play for that as he went up against Paul Sinha who was today's Chaser.
Gareth struggled with a couple of questions but managed to get back to his team with the £5,000.
But it was his decision to wear a vivid green hoodie that caught viewers' eyes and they took to social media to comment on it.
Jenny said: "Gareth looks like he's popped into the ITV studios on his way back from a jog. I've never seen someone wear a hoodie on The Chase."
Jane Farrant said: "Gareth’s wearing his ‘best’ hoodie for tv."
Paul said: "Did Gareth know he was going on #thechase when he put that top on and left the house?"
And Lassard's Goldfish said: "Gareth could have made an effort, clothing wise. It's not a Happy Monday's audition!"
Gareth's fellow contestant Mandi impressed viewers as she opted to go for the high offer of £30,000.
But her efforts were in vain as she was sadly booted out by Paul.
