Fans of The Chase did the 'unthinkable' this evening as they switched off just minutes into the show.
Many said that they were "turning over to Pointless" instead as they realised that the ITV quiz show, hosted by Bradley Walsh, was a four year old repeat. Nikki, Alison, Sam and Eli were welcomed to the programme to take on The Vixen, Jenny Ryan.
But viewers at home were less than impressed as they noticed that they recognised the contestants. They all threatened to switch off just minutes in, with some turning to the rival quiz show.

Taking to Twitter, Jonty said: "#TheChase If I want to watch repeats I’ll watch Challenge. This is peak ITV so I’m out."
Lee said: "Think I might do the unthinkable and turn over to Pointless #TheChase." Alex said: "A repeat? Nahhhhhhh #TheChase".
Another user said: "And that's me done for tonight. Not watching 4 year old episodes of #TheChase! #TippingPoint."
Meanwhile, Steve said: "It’s Monday, and for the first time this week, #TheChase is on! Except… It’s a repeat. And it’s all thanks to the doggone World Cup. And that means there’ll be some douchebags who are going to end up spoiling the result and the fun. Great. Freaking fantastic."
