ITV The Chase fans slam Ferne McCann for doing 'what you should never do'

The Chase fans called out Ferne McCann tonight as she committed one of the big show no nos.

The reality star managed to get £5,000 in her cash builder and was thrilled.

She then went up against The Sinnerman, Paul Sinha, who was the Chaser in tonight's repeat.

Paul offered her £1,000 as a low offer and Ferne was tempted, but seemed determined to go for her earned £5,000, but then BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker got involved.

He said: "Ferne it's not a cop out having you back here is better, it's whatever you need to do."

Emboldened by Dan's encouragement Ferne said: "I'm going to go for the £1,000."

Paul Sinha was surprised with her decision and said: "It might be over cautious but we'll see, you wont get any criticism from me."

However fans at home were not impressed with her actions and slammed her on social media.

Kevin Law said: "Noooo Ferne McCann NEVER take the low offer! You let your team brow beat you into that FFS Ok chaslings, do your thing."

Nicole Williams said: "Knew she would go low."

And Youkay said: "Not the lower offer."

But Ferne's decision paid off as she managed to beat the Chaser and bring the cash back to her team.

The team had managed to get a total of £12,000 to play for in the final Chase, which would be then split between their chosen charities.

In the final Chase they set a target of 16 for Paul to beat and they managed to win with one second remaining in a tense finale.

*The Chase continues at 5pm on ITV on Monday
