ITV The Chase fans fall in love with 'ball of sunshine' contestant

The Chase fans fell in love with a contestant tonight, for her sunny personality and wild streak of luck.

Bim, 58, said she lived in Dagenham, but was originally from Nigeria.

She said she helped to organise events for the over 50s and took them on trips out, like a dating agency.

Bim told host Bradley Walsh she wanted to buy a new kitchen if she won some cash, because she hadn't touched her current one "since 2002".

Bim had a rocky cash builder as she took her time to answer the questions, only managing to bring £1,000 to the table against The Governess, Anne Hegerty, who was tonight's Chaser.

But bringing her bubbly personality to the table, Bim decided to play for the £1,000, despite her team advising her to go for the low offer of £1.

She raced through the questions, guessing many of them, saying: "If in doubt go for B, B for Bim."

Amazingly she managed to get past Anne and jumped up and down as she returned to her team, screaming: "What just happened there, thank you Anne."

Bradley said: "Brilliant Bim, bim bam boom."

Anne looked stunned by the turn of events and said: "Well that was baffling."

And viewers at home loved Bim and took to social media to shower her with praise.
