The Chase has come under fire as fans slammed the programme's "harsh" treatment of a contestant on today's episode.
Host Bradley Walsh welcomed four new players on Wednesday's edition of the popular ITV gameshow.
Richard, Rachel Mark and Jinni were testing their wits against Jenny Ryan in a bid to win a cash prize.

Richard was up in seat one and the 64-year-old built up £3,000 in an impressive cash-builder.
However, fans felt Richard was unfairly denied a correct answer in the first round.
Bradley asked: "What modern city was the capital of both the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires?"
Richard answered "Constantinople", but the correct response was actually Istanbul, which the city was renamed as in 1930.
Viewers following the show on Twitter blasted the decision as "harsh" and felt Richard should have been given an extra £1,000 in the cash-builder.
Fergus said: "Not giving him Constantinople, that's harsh Brad"
Francine tweeted: "Constantinople was the capital of the Byzantine empire! Renamed Istanbul...shame on calling that answer wrong!"
Andrew added: "Poor show tonight. Capital of the Byzantine Empire...contestant answered Constantinople.. Brad wanted Istanbul.......did not allow it. Robbed of a grand."
@jecrawley commented : "Constantinople is Istanbul and would have been called that at the time of the empires in the question. Just saying.."
Jerome posted: "Constantinople was the capital of the Byzantine and Ottoman empire. Richard should seriously question that"
@Podge_UK said: "Brad: What was the capital of both the Ottoman and Byzantine empires? Richard: Constantinople Brad: No, Istanbul. You owe that man a grand."
However, other fans defended the programme and pointed out the question specified "modern city".
Rik said: "Which modern city?' That rules out Constantinople"
@Rich_Walton added: "Tbf, question was 'which modern day city...'"
The contestant proceeded to be caught by Jenny Ryan in the head-to-head so did not progress to the Final Chase.
Jinni and Mark progressed to the last round and competed for an overall £6,000.
The team built up 12 steps and were caught with 52 seconds remaining so they left empty-handed.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and ITV Hub
