ITV The Chase fans beg Chaser Paul Sinha to 'get rid of' student

ITV The Chase viewers were unimpressed with a student on tonight's episode, begging for him to be gotten "rid of".

Computer student Andy appeared on the smash hit quiz show, which was a repeat, to try his chances against Chaser Paul 'the Sinnerman' Sinha.

After getting just £2,000 in his cash builder round, Andy went on to rile viewers up during his head to head.

With a question on which American took the first selfie in space, Andy referred to legendary astronaut and engineer Buzz Aldrin as Buzz Lightyear, before saying he did know Buzz Aldrin was a real astronaut.

But viewers were not amused with his antics and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Keven said: "Buzz binking lightyear FFS".

One social media user said: "Hurry up and get rid of this t**t please Paul..."

Another added: "If Andy was your mate you’d wanna shake him .... what a plank!!!"

And another commented: "Oh my effing life!! Where did they drag this guy from?"

Other viewers suggested presenter Bradley Walsh and Chaser Paul Sinha may echo their feelings of annoyance with the player.

Christopher said: "Bradley actually seems slightly over Andy."

Nick added: "The sinahmans look of total disgust towards Andy".

Andy was eliminated from the show by the Sinnerman.

*The Chase airs on ITV each weekday at 5pm
