ITV The Chase fans beg Chaser Jenny Ryan to stop strange behaviour

The Chase fans were left begging Chaser Jenny Ryan to stop her bizarre behaviour on tonight's show.

Jenny went up against four contestants in a brand new episode of the show - but it was when she went up against Megan that things took a turn for the worse.

Sales Analyst Megan from Glasgow had a question about the Whitney Houston song "The Greatest Love of all."

And Bradley made a few jokes - before Jenny broke into song - she screamed "Lighters out" and then blasted out the chorus, as Bradley and the contestants swayed along.

But Twitter was having none of it and slammed the behaviour as cringey.

Gaynor Chambers said: "Don't try and sing a #WhitneyHouston song!!! You'll ruin a classic."

mm150 said: "Singing chasers is the cringe part of the show."

Kevin Clapham said: "Why does she always have to say something?! Shut it Jenny!"

And Emma said: "STOP the singing!!!!!!"

Megan failed to get past Jenny and left with nothing - dashing her hopes of a ski trip to France with her boyfriend.

Her teammate Gurpal was also unlucky as he went for the high offer of £53,000 and crashed out - leaving full-time mum Claire to battle it out with the Chaser.

*The Chase continues at 5pm on ITV tomorrow
