The Chase viewers switched off from the show this evening after a schedule change made it clash with Hollyoaks.
Fans of The Chase had to make a difficult decision today following a later start of 6:30pm. Normally airing at 5pm, the change was part of their Easter schedule.
Feeling conflicted about what this would mean for other shows, the later start forced many fans to switch over. As Hollyoaks airs at 7pm, fans were only able to watch 30 minutes of this evening's The Chase.

One viewer said: "Having said that, I'm not even sure I'm gonna watch ALL of #TheChase as #Hollyoaks is on at 7". Another added: "I'll be soon switching over to E4 to watch #Hollyoaks #TheChase".
Fans also shared their dismay at having to wait half an hour between Tipping Point and The Chase. One fan tweeted: "ugh 30 mins of news before #thechase".
The show will return to its normal time slot from Monday. It was pushed back this evening in order to air the family movie Matilda at 2pm.
