ITV The Chase contestant ignores advice and betrays teammates

A Chase contestant disappointed her fellow teammates tonight as she went for the paltry low offer.

Shante went up against Anne Hegerty as The Chaser, after only scoring £2,000 in her cash builder.

Bradley said she was a better player than that and told her she had had some "sticky questions"

Anne gave her the high offer of £20,000 and a low offer of £200 and Shante went to her team for advice.

Her fellow players told her to stick with the £2,000 and so did Bradley.

But Shante opted to go for the low offer of £200 and said: "I'm going for £200 to get back to the team."

And fans were not happy with her actions and took to Twitter to slam her.

Shante continued her poor form and even though she'd gone for the low offer she failed to get past The Chaser and went home with nothing, to the delight of fans on social media, who thought she got what she deserved.
