ITV The Chase contestant hits out at Bradley Walsh over his comments

A contestant on The Chase hit out at Bradley Walsh after he made a comment about her profession.

Monday's instalment of the popular ITV quiz show saw four more players ready to face one of Britain's biggest brains in the hope of taking home some cash. They were Gillian from Bangor, Spencer from Henley-in-Arden, Emma from Aberdeen and Wayne from Tunbridge Wells.

Before giving a decent performance in the cash builder round, Gillian revealed she is a hairdresser with her own salon. She's been working in the industry for some thirty years.

On hearing this, host Bradley asked: "How many clients would you have?", to which Gillian replied: "Too many". Bradley then said: "I bet, in your town, have you become the go-to girl?"

Gillian was not too pleased with his comment, and replied: "The go-to girl, Brad? That sounds a bit wrong".

Gillian then went up against the Beast, after taking the middle £5,000 offer. Sadly for Gillian, she was caught after a number of questions and left the studio empty-handed.

Up next was Spencer, who said he would use his winnings to pay off his student loans and buy a new bike. But after answering an impressive seven questions correctly in his cash builder round, he too was caught out by Mark Labbett.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
