ITV tease line-up for first Celebrity X Factor with stars of Coronation Street, Love Island and The Chase

Fans of The X Factor have been given a glimpse at what's to come in the first ever celebrity version of the talent competition.

X-Factor: Celebrity is set to air on ITV next month and the line-up has been teased with a Coronation Street actress and a Love Island super group set to take part.

"It's time for something different," Simon Cowell announces at the start of a minute-long trailer, which also shows Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger back in the judging seat.

All in all, 15 celebrities including reality stars, actors, a footballer, a dancer and a journalist will be seen trying to be the next big singing sensation on the show.

No names have officially been revealed but rumoured names, and a sneak peek at the trailer appear to confirm that former Islanders Zara McDermott, Eyal Booker, Wes Nelson and Samira Mighty, former Strictly Come Dancing pro Brendan Cole and The Chase star Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan are all lined up to star.

Other possible names include former footballer and actor Vinnie Jones, American chat show host Ricki Lake, former TOWIE star Megan McKenna, Love Actually actress Olivia Olson and a mystery Corrie star.

The new show will replace the regular version along with X Factor: All Stars which will see some familiar favourites return for a week-long super show in a bid to be crowned the ultimate champion.

Names circulating to appear on that include Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke and Shayne Ward.

Simon has previously confirmed that there will be two smaller versions of the show, admitting that the 'time felt right' for a 'huge change.'
