ITV's The Chase fans left disheartened after 'same questions' repeat on show

Fans of The Chase have slammed production staff for an alleged repeat question on street artist Banksy.

Viewers watching Monday's instalment of the hit ITV quizzer were greeted by the usual host Bradley Walsh beaming a series of questions to Salon Owner Gillian from Bangor, Chemistry Student Spencer from Henley in Arden, Pharmacist Emma from Aberdeen and Local Government Officer Wayne from Tunbridge Wells - all of whom trying to outsmart chaser Mark Labbett.

But masterminds behind the mid-afternoon staple may have inadvertently created a reoccurring feature within their questions, which has went down like a lead balloon with viewers playing along at home.

The Star reports that during the programme, Bradley asked a question relating to the infamous street artist Banksy - which eagle-eyed punters tuning in spotted the presenter has done on a number of occasions before. 37-year-old Emma and Wayne, 54, managed to make it through to the final after beating 'The Beast' in the cash builder rounds - competing to win £12,000.

And during the streak of final questions, Bradley asked: "The Grin Reaper is a work by which Bristol street artist?", to which viewers took issue with as it related to the artist Banksy. One noted: "I’m sure there’s a question about Banksy on every single episode of The Chase," while another, added: ""Banksy klaxon! #TheChase."

More and more fans of the beloved ITV staple then flocked to social media to answer the location artist question themselves sarcastically, with one, penning: "Bristol, just in case you were thinking of a famous Manchester street artist. #TheChase."

A fourth, commented: "How many other street artists from Bristol does anyone know? #TheChase," while a fifth, exclaimed: "I was waiting for the Banksey question… Bradley: Which Banksy shaped street artist called Banksy painted a picture called this is me and my name is Banksy? Contestant: Pass… #TheChase."
