Fans of ITV's The Chase slammed a contestant on today's episode for being eliminated after an "easy" question.
Hayley, from Leeds, went up against Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan in a new instalment of the hit quiz show.
After getting £2,000 in her cash builder, Hayley almost made it through to the final round before answering an "easy" question incorrectly.
Host Bradley Walsh asked Hayley: "The expression "turn over a new leaf" refers to what type of leaf?"
The options were the leaf of a plant, the page of a book or gold leaf.
Hayley selected the leaf of a plant, much to Bradley's dismay.
Bradley and the Chaser told Hayley the meaning behind the correct answer, which was the page of a book, to signal embarking on a new chapter or phase in one's life.
Bradley told her she played well before Hayley left the set.
