ITV's Ranvir Singh 'offended' by Andi Peters as she gives career update

Ranvir Singh didn't look pleased as her co-worker 'gagged' at her on today's Lorraine.

The TV presenter normally works on Good Morning Britain but announced at the start of today's show that she will be covering the Scottish TV host for the next three weeks. She said that she was "very happy" about the career update as she grinned from ear to ear.

She went on to welcome competition presenter, Andi Peters, to the ITV show. For the first time ever on the Lorraine show, they were giving viewers a chance to win some cash.

Ranvir said: "To cause a bit of chaos as always, Andi is in the studio and it's very exciting." He went on to explain how fans of the show could win £2,000 today on the show.

He then added: "Ranvir, you can't win but we've won for the next three weeks." She looked delighted as she said: "Ohhh Andi."

But then he ruined the moment as he pretended to stick his fingers down his throat and gagged. Ranvir's smile quickly faded from her face as she looked offended and Andi erupted into laughter.

He laughed so much that he collapsed onto the floor behind the desk and out of view but his giggles could still be heard. With a stern face, Ranvir said: "We used to be friends Andi, we used to be friends. Andi will be unavailable for all broadcasts on Lorraine today and the next three weeks sadly. Bye."

She broke her act and started to laugh too as she said: "No, but Free Cash Friday very very exciting. One of my favourite things that we're doing."
