ITV's Ninja Warrior Adventure Park set to launch in Bristol

Bristol has been selected to be a new location for a Ninja Warrior Adventure Park inspired by the ITV show of the same name. There are venues across the UK featuring obstacle courses like those on the hit show - and our city is in line for its very own.

Signage has emerged on the building next to Curry's in Cribbs Causeway as the venue for the new adventure park. BristolLive has reached out to ITV for comment.

The adventure park is currently based in 15 locations around the UK, including Gloucester and Swansea, with Bristol and Guilford currently listed as upcoming sites. There is little information available on the Bristol adventure park - or the opening - but other sites have a range of equipment to put your climbing, jumping, balancing and strength abilities to the test.

Its website reads: "The Ninja Warrior UK TV show is great family entertainment and is both inspiring and aspirational, which is why ITV and its partners have created different types of Ninja Warrior UK supervised activity and fitness venues across the UK, all geared to wide age and ability ranges.

"All of our venues are fun, safe and inclusive, enabling all participants to create their own Ninja Warrior UK journeys!"

The concept is based on the hit ITV show under the same name where a group of people known as Ninja Heroes try to complete TV's toughest obstacle course. The contestant who advances the furthest is then crowned as Ninja Warrior for the UK.

Series 6, which is currently being broadcast on ITV, features new obstacles and bigger challenges hosted by Ben Shephard, Rochelle Humes, and Chris Kamara.
