After weeks ands weeks of adverts teasing its arrival on screen, on Monday night, ITV viewers will get a first look at new drama Maryland and there's a few familiar faces to look out for, including a Grease legend.

Launching just a night after much talked about medical drama Malpractice finished, Maryland is the story of two sisters who are forced together after years of having a strained relationship, when their mother’s body is discovered on the Isle of Man reunites them. Arriving in a place they have never visited and with no idea why their mother was there, the sisters begin to unravel the long-held secrets of a woman they thought they knew, whilst keeping their own secrets from each other.

Confined on the island and forced to face the life-changing consequences of their mother’s decisions, can Becca and Rosaline learn to love and respect one another all over again?
