ITV's Lorraine Kelly missing from show leaving fans divided with new host

ITV viewers were left frustrated when tuning in to Lorraine at 9am this morning.

The Scottish presenter Lorraine Kelly is not on her talk show this Friday, January 14, and a stand is presenter has stood in to take on the hosting responsibility.

Instead, as Birmingham Live reports, ITV fans were greeted by Ranvir Singh on this morning's Lorraine Kelly.

As Lorraine took a pre-planned day off today, Ranvir was seen sitting on the couch, as she discussed fashion, Dancing on Ice and Posh Weekends with Sally Lindsay.

Sally was on the show talking about her latest episode of Posh Weekends with the next show featuring Scotland's Scone Palace.

The actress explained to Ranvir that although people inherit this grande houses and land, they still work hard to keep them running.

Surprised to see a different host this morning, Chantal tweeted: "OH hello Ranvir".

One viewer questioned: "What’s with the casual mug holding from Ranvir, you’re not at home on the sofa love".

Alex wrote: "@ranvir01 wow u look incredible this morning on Lorraine".

"Swapping #Lorraine for Ravir. Out of the frying pan, into the fire". Emily penned.

Michelle Marsh said: "#Lorraine Kelly off today cos baby daughter Rosie got to be taken to dentist".

Michelle said: "Wow - looking good, @ranvir01"

Earlier this week, ITV has been issued with a warning after an episode of Lorraine racked up nearly 4,000 complaints.

Ofcom has told the broadcaster that it must take "greater care" after Dr Hilary Jones shared inaccurate vaccine statistics on the ITV morning show, fronted by Lorraine Kelly.

"We have told ITV that greater care should be taken by trusted medical experts when presenting facts and figures on public health issues," Ofcom said.
