ITV's Lorraine Kelly fuming at Wikipedia mistake

ITV's Lorraine Kelly said she was forced to correct Wikipedia when they made an error about her.

The 59-year-old was chatting to former Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh's new role in the musical production of classic 80s movie 'Big'.

Former Stars in their Eyes host Matthew Kelly will also being in the west end show and Lorraine revealed an unfortunate error regarding the 69-year-old.

She said: "Actually, I had to correct Wikipedia because they had me down as Matthew Kelly's mum.

"And to this day, he still comes up and greets me with 'Mother!'"

While the presenter was laughing about it, it could have been taken at quite galling considering Lorraine is 10 years younger.

Matthew was born in 1950 in Urmston, Lancashire and was a regular at productions in the Liverpool's Everyman Theatre during his early career.

By contrast Lorraine was born in 1959 in Glasgow and spent her early days in journalism as a Scotland correspondent for TV-am.

*Lorraine is on ITV1, weekdays from 8:30am
