ITV's Loose Women live tour to come to Newcastle with Denise Welch on the panel

Denise Welch will have a homecoming to remember later this year when she takes her seat on the panel for the first ever Loose Women tour in Newcastle.

Former Coronation Street and Waterloo Road star Denise has been a regular on the ITV lunchtime show, on and off for the best part of 20 years and now, together with colleagues she is going on the road as the programme takes a live show across the country for the very first time.

Teasing what to expect, Loose Women's Editor Sally Shelford said: "We’re delighted the show is hitting the road for the first time with Loose Women Live! Having a live audience is such an important part of Loose Women and we can’t wait to be able to bring the show directly to our viewers in this way.”

Denise will make a return to the O2 City Hall, a place she's played many times as one of the Sunday for Sammy cast, on Wednesday, September 6 and be joined by her Loose Women co-stars Charlene White, Linda Robson and Jane Moore, for an evening filled with laughter, hot topics, fun and surprises - as they share their stories and secrets live and in-person.

Other Loose Women favourites taking part in the tour, but not in Newcastle, include Kaye Adams, Judi Love, Brenda Edwards, Frankie Bridge and Christine Lampard.
