ITV's Jenny Ryan has hit back at trolls she claims have a "bizarre fixation" with her.
The star of hit quiz show The Chase has been busy on social media this week after the launch of quizzing spin-off Beat the Chasers.
The new show is airing every weeknight this week on ITV and sees contestants face two, three, four or all five Chasers at once in a bid to win a cash prize.
Like the original, it is hosted by popular presenter Bradley Walsh and has gone down a storm with viewers all week.
But Jenny 'the Vixen' Ryan has had to endure some criticism from social media trolls.
Taking to Twitter, Jenny retweeted a comment from a viewer who suggested her quizzing skills were lacking and said "there's already one".
In a follow up tweet, Jenny said: "Never mind the last retweet.
"It's a new account from someone who has a bizarre fixation with me. I could get a clean sweep and they'd claim I'm not a real quizzer and I don't deserve to be a Chaser.
"I wonder why they are so bitter?"
Jenny became part of the line up of Chasers in 2015 as "The Vixen", though she is sometimes referred to as the Bolton Brainiac.
The first quiz show she appeared on was University Challenge, representing the University of Leeds and making it to the semi-final in 2003.
In 2006, she was a contestant on BBC's Mastermind, choosing cult television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer as her specialist subject.
She has also appeared on Only Connect, Are You an Egghead?, Fifteen to One and The Weakest Link.
