While absolutely loving the show, viewers of new ITV drama Innocent have been left baffled by a very odd advert starring its main star Katherine Kelly.
The second series of the hit crime thriller kicked off on Monday, with a completely different story to series 1 with former Coronation Street actress Katherine leading the Innocent cast as Sally Wright, a Keswick teacher who was jailed for the murder of her pupil Matty Taylor, after claims of an affair between the two.
The drama started with Sally in the dock for her re-trial, with being found not guilty after fresh evidence emerged placing her away from the scene of the crime.
But some viewers were slightly confused as, right before the first episode started, Katherine was on screen in an advert, which saw her looking very different to character Sally, with pink hair.
The advert saw Katherine in a kitchen before opening a cupboard and finding TOWIE star Pete Wicks tied up inside it.
A similar clip aired on Tuesday, only this time it was Pete's co-star Bobby Norris in the cupboard.

The adverts are part of ITV's new Drama v Reality campaign but some viewers didn't realise it was an ad and mistook it for being part of Innocent, while others couldn't get their head round it at all.
One took to Twitter to react: "Did no one see that fridge scene with Katherine Kelly in a pink wig? What was that about?" before adding: "My son was convinced they accidentally shown a scene by mistake"
Another posted: "Whys nobody talking about the biggest mystery about #Innocent....what is going on in that advert with Katherine Kelly?? and a third commented: "Whys nobody talking about the biggest mystery about #Innocent....what is going on in that advert with Katherine Kelly??"
Innocent continues on ITV with its third episode on Wednesday, with a teaser reading: "As Sally and Sam grow closer, the police investigation turns to Gary Walker, but what is his connection? Meanwhile, Bethany's link to Matthew comes to light as Karen admits a damning secret."
