ITV's I'm A Celeb viewers think Ian Wright 'proved' the show isn't live with swearing slip-up

One of the best bits of ITV's I'm A Celebrity i s undoubtedly Ant and Dec's live interlude from the jungle.

There's something oddly satisfying about seeing the sunrise in Australia while we're all cosied up on our sofas in the pitch black - maybe because it instills that little bit of summer we're all missing at this time of year.

However, some viewers think that some censoring in last night's show is proof that the show isn't live.

During the programme, which was shown as 'live' from Australia, Ian Wright was nominated to take part in the latest trial.

After Ant and Dec left camp, the camera zoomed in on Ian, who didn't appear best pleased with the news.

Speaking to his campmates, the former footballer said: "Don't....I don't want to...don't pamper me..."

The rest of his sentence, clearly not suitable for television, was bleeped out.

The censorship led many to question whether or not the show is actually live, with some pointing out that there must be a delay for the bleeping to have taken place.

"How was that live if they censored out the profanity?" questioned one fan.

Another asked: "Watching I’m a celebrity and it says Live.... Ian swore and they managed to bleep it out... can’t be live then."

"If #ImACeleb is live, how did they know Ian Wright was going to swear!? Clearly there's a delay as they just bleeped out his swearing," tweeted a third confused viewer.

ITV's I'm A Celebrity continues tonight at 9pm.
