ITV's new drama Anne starring Maxine Peake starts tonight.
The miniseries follows what happened when Anne Williams' fifteen-year-old son was killed in the Hillsborough disaster.
The drama will portray the events after Kevin Williams became one of the 97 innocent men, women and children unlawfully killed at the tragic FA Cup semi-final.

The script was written by author and producer Kevin Sampson, who based the drama around the book With Hope In Her Heart, written by Anne’s daughter Sara and ECHO journalist Dan Kay.
Anne was filmed on location around Liverpool with World Productions, whose previous projects include Line Of Duty and Vigil.
Anne will be played by Shameless and Three Girls actress Maxine Peake, with the rest of the cast including Hustle actor Rob Jarvis, and Ian Puleston-Davies, who played Owen Armstrong in Coronation Street.

There are four episodes.
The first airs on Sunday January 2 at 9pm.
The following episodes will air on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (January 3, 4 and 5) at the same time.
