ITV Real Housewives of Cheshire star excited to be spending first Christmas as family of four after TV baby bombshell

The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Hanna Kinsella returned to the glamorous The Real Housewives of Cheshire line-up in August, and in heart-warming scenes she welcomed a baby girl with her husband Martin. During the 14th series of the long-running show, in a bombshell moment screened last November, Hanna discovered on camera that she was expecting her second child with anti-ageing doctor Martin.

Their son Max, born in February last year, was just eight months old and the news came as a shock to Hanna who had thought that she was just feeling under the weather after having a Covid jab. Cosmetic dentist Hanna was heavily pregnant when filming started again earlier this year and their adorable baby Kimia was born by planned caesarean at Wythenshawe Hospital in May.

Hanna did a pregnancy test smuggled into their hotel between two packets of crisps by her friend and co-star Rachel Lugo during a girls' trip to Edinburgh. She is now excited about spending her first Christmas as a family of four.

"We usually tend to go away at Christmas but we're staying in the UK," she told us. "It will be Max's second Christmas and Kimia's first. Max has been so good with her, kissing and cuddling her and they've got matching Christmas PJs."

Hanna, 34, who shared her wedding day in 2019 and pregnancy journeys on the ITV2 reality show since she joined the cast four years ago, formed a close friendship in the 15th series with show newcomer Katie Alex, 32, and her friend Ashley Stobart.

The trio have bonded in the show as younger mums. "I love the girls but is has been nice to spend time with Katie and Ashley," she said.

The 15th series featured a girlie trip to Malta, dating after divorce, relationship dynamics, parenting, building business empires, health hurdles, husbands and boyfriends as well as dealing with the menopause. Hanna, who runs Kiln Lane Dental Practice in St Helens, will be back to make splash as the ladies return for a three-part Christmas special with some big surprises.

On-board for the special, and taking to the seas to cruise around Mexico, will be Hanna and castmates Lauren Simon, Lystra Adams, Nicole Sealey, Rachel Lugo, Seema Malhotra and Sheena Lynch. They were gobsmacked to be joined by former Housewives Tanya Bardsley and Ester Dee.

"The three episodes are jam-packed with fun, drama and laughs," she said. "Ester arrived on the ship and none of us knew, then Tanya was there and we were so excited. Both are so energetic and fun. They bring an element of banter and fun. They added so much to the group."

Hanna said about the 15th explosive row-laden series: "It felt like it was a lot more real. I've been on the show long enough to know we all have our moments.

"If you're on it you can step back and say 'we're all there for each other, we're on a show and making a show.' We're like a dysfunctional family, sisters who fight and then make up."

The Real Housewives of Cheshire: Christmas Cruising, Mondays from 5th December at 9pm on ITVBe and the ITV Hub.
