ITV Ready to Mingle viewers all ask same question as first episode airs

Ready to Mingle viewers were all asking the same question tonight as the contestants entered the Devon villa.

Hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan, the series follows a single girl in the search for a partner, as 12 male suitors compete for her affections and the chance to win a big money prize.

However not all the boys are single with a number of them being guided by their partners in pursuit of the prize.

Taking up residence in a luxurious house, the single girl gets to know all the boys through activities, games and dates, eliminating each boy one-by-one until only one remain.

If she picks a man who is single, together they win the cash prize.

But if he is in a relationship, the single girl loses all the money, while the man and his actual girlfriend steal it.

In tonight's episode, we met single girl Sophia and the 12 male contestants.

But viewers were all asking the same question about the show's premise.

Tee said: "What kind of girlfriend would let their man go on a show like this is £25,000 really worth watching your man technically cheat on you."

Montel tweeted: "I don’t get this show? Why would anyone want their other half to flirt with someone else? Money or not your feelings are just gonna get hurt."

Ruth wrote: "Girlfriend's at home like 'I don't mind if you cheat for money", followed by a shock emoji face.

Kellie tweeted: "So the girlfriends are happy to see their partner cheat on them for money?! What?"

And Julian added: "If I'm right the boys' girlfriends are happy for them to go on tv ...even worse....FOR MONEY...."
