ITV Racing tips from Newsboy with Enrilo fancied to win on Cheltenham's Friday card

ENRILO is fancied to net compensation for his Ladbrokes Trophy departure with a win in the Betfair Handicap Chase (2.25) at Cheltenham.

Paul Nicholls had expected the seven-year-old to “run tidy” - and Enrilo was in the process of doing exactly that when parting company with Harry Cobden at the 14th of the 21 obstacles.

It’s too early to say how last April’s disqualified Bet365 Gold Cup ‘winner’ would have fared, but it’s a reasonable assumption that Enrilo would have posted a personal best on his sixth attempt over fences.

Cobden's mount competes from the same British Horseracing Authority Handicap mark of 147 here - and can take advantage.

Irish raider PLAN OF ATTACK, who finished strongly when beaten by Back On The Lash, Singing Banjo and Diesel D’Allier over course and distance last month, gets the vote for revenge in the Glenfarclas Crystal Cup Cross Country Handicap Chase (3.00).

That two-length fourth was the Henry de Bromhead trainee’s first try over the banks and hedges at the home of jump racing, and a step forward is expected here.

Top weight may not be enough to anchor last-time-out course victor SPORTING JOHN in the Citipost Handicap Hurdle (3.35), while PRECIOUS ELEANOR should give a good account for the in-form Henry Daly in the CF Roberts Electrical & Mechanical Services Mares' Handicap Chase (1.50).

At Bangor-On-Dee, PARICOLOR, runner-up at Cheltenham and Doncaster on his last two outings, is the selection to go one better in the MansionBet Proud To Support British Racing Handicap Hurdle (2.05).
