ITV pundit appears to make X-rated slip during live France vs USA coverage

Viewers of ITV's coverage of France's 33-9 win over the USA in the Rugby World Cup got more than they bargained for when Martin Bayfield appeared to swear on live TV.

When talking about the number of errors the French made during their lacklustre performance, the former England second-row seemed to use a spot of foul language to emphasise just how many mistakes were made.

However, on closer inspection, it can be heard that Bayfield said 'bucket load of errors', rather than something else more dubious.

That didn't stop viewers take to social media to see if their ears were deceiving them.

One Twitter user commented that Bayfield "isn't holding back", while another one said he "loved the passion" of Bayfield 'swearing' on live TV.

Former England and Scarlets winger Tom Varndell commented: "I'm definitely hearing that too."
