This Morning has been pulled from the air for a breaking news announcement.
ITV viewers had their regular dose of morning entertainment cut short after the studio was forced to immediately change its lineup.
The topical chat show was due to start at 10:00 am but viewers watched as cameras cut to outside 10 Downing Street. The breaking news segment was put in place in order to give the public live coverage of the next Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, being ushered in.

Liz Truss resigned as Prime Minister last week after only maintaining the position for six weeks. In the race to find her a replacement, ex-chancellor Rishi Sunak held a strong lead with over 140 nominations from his peers before competitor Penny Mordaunt pulled out of the race.
Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson was also tipped to return to Downing Street but said it wasn't the right time. Mr Sunak has become the first Prime Minister of Asian heritage to take the office.
