ITV Piers Morgan slams Extinction Rebellion founder in extremely heated debate

Piers Morgan slammed the founder of Extinction Rebellion today, telling her to 'practise what you preach.'

Skeena Rathor appeared on Good Morning Britain to speak about the action currently being undertaken by the group in London.

Piers argued that the disruptive action was causing ordinary people to lose money and he asked probing questions about Skeena's own carbon footprint.

He asked her: "Do you walk your kids to school? Do you have a TV, Ipads? Do you have heating and air conditioning?

"You don't practise what you preach, you do one thing and say another."

Skeena said: "It's a systems wide issue, it's not about an individual carbon footprint."

But Piers became incensed by her avoiding the question and continually asked her if she had a TV and then he said: "Will you try answering one of my questions - can you please stop talking.

"I'm really having a problem here, I'm really frustrated here.

"I'd respect you more when you admit what that you actually do.

"You personally are guzzling and burning up the atmosphere and it makes you look like a hypocrite."

And fans loved the way Piers wouldn't let the subject drop.

Jonathan Kelso said: "Quality by piers Morgan on #gmb she really would not answer a simple question on if she has a tv...."

Hannah Ivory Baker said: " @piersmorgan 'why don't you extinguish and rebel against your own tv' the best part of that interview!"

Dan Ward said: "How is this saving the planet. hate agreeing with you piers but you proved your point with the woman on #gmb she wouldn't answer a question. ridiculous."
