ITV Love Island viewers spot 'sure fire sign' Gemma is over Luca

Love Island viewers are convinced that Gemma Owen has given the greatest sign yet that she 'doesn't fancy' partner Luca Bish after seeing the couple in the latest episode of the hit ITV2 dating programme. The revelation comes right after Gemma's mum expressed her upset with Luca and his mate Dami over allegations they are 'bullying' contestant Tasha.

In the villa, things also appear to have taken a turn for the happy couple, according to eagle-eyed viewers. Claiming to have spotted Gemma's disgusted facial responses at her beau's performance in a sexy challenge, fans were also shocked to hear Luca made sly digs about Gemma 'not putting any effort in' into their relationship as the final looms.

During Friday night's episode, the boys were tasked with serenading their partners in 'You've Got Male', which saw them dressing up as sexy postmen before stripping off their uniforms in a tantalising striptease, reports the Mirror. While the other girls cheered on their men, Gemma was seen by viewers recoiling when Luca ripped off his shorts to reveal a tiny pair of red sequined pants.

Speaking about her reaction in the Beach Hut afterwards, Gemma appeared to confirm her disappointment. She told the camera: "He had a very good... approach. Not so much sexy but..."

"What do you mean not sexy?" interrupted Luca. "I wasn't trying to be sexy." Rolling her eyes, Gemma explained: "Yeah, that's what I'm saying you came with the funny approach rather than like sexy."

"I can be sexy if I want to be sexy," protested the fishmonger. He then scathed: "Obviously shock Gemma didn't have to put any effort in - a bit like our whole relationship.

"Are you joking!?" Gemma fumed in response. Gemma's reaction in the challenge didn't go unnoticed by fans watching at home who have suggested she's pretending to fancy her fellow contestant. "Gemma’s face during that challenge. Luca really gives her the ick every single time she really is struggling," said one.

"LOL who else saw Gemma’s face drop when she saw Luca’s package," added another. Another predicted the couple are headed for a split, "Ooool the ick on Gemma's face during Luca's turn. His days are numbered."

"Gemma's mouth says she likes Luca but her face says "help me", said another after they went in for a snog. It comes after new bombshell Nathalia asked the couple if there was enough 'banter' in their relationship and if they could say themselves lasting on the outside during a candid game of truth and dare.

Luca shot down accusations they were not a 'fun couple' and has spent the last week declaring his love for the daughter of former Liverpool striker Michael Owen. Meanwhile on the outside, Gemma's mum has been making her feelings clear on the series for the first time.

Louise spoke out amid the furore of fans accusing Luca and his sidekick Dami of their hostile treatment to contestant Tasha. In response to a video posted by Tasha's family on her Instagram page, Louise wrote a crying and heart emoji: "I hope Tasha is ok, I feel it's close to bullying now which is so sad to see."

Gemma has previously revealed that her mum was 'scary' and warned Luca he would need to work to impress her. If the reality TV couple survive the latest vote off, Luca will face Louise in the villa in the eagerly-anticipated meet the parents episode.

While football pundit Michael has made it clear he will not be flying out to Majorca to participate in the reunion. Speaking to Sky Sports At The Races, Michael said: "My wife will do that duty."
