ITV Love Island shows the unseen bits - and viewers are all asking the same question

Love Island's weekly offering of 'unseen bits' offers fans a chance to catch up on all the drama that didn't make it into the main show.

But this week's episode had all the viewers asking the exact same question when they noticed something was obviously missing.

The ITV2 show is filled with funny moments from inside the villa as well as extra chat on who's having their head turned and who's doing the grafting.

This week has been full of dramatic moments - from Sherif's shocking sudden exit to Maura and Elma entering the show, and there was one glaring thing viewers were hoping would be answered on the unseen bits.

Lots of fans took to Twitter to ask whether it would finally be revealed why Sherif had to leave the villa without being voted off.

The 20-year-old was removed  from the villa on Tuesday,  but the reason for his departure remains unknown.

Viewers hoped to find out what happened to Sherif - but tonight's unseen bits episode left everyone asking the same question.

One viewer tweeted saying: "Let's hope we see Sherif getting dumped from the island in these unseen bits."

Another fan account said: "Patiently waiting for the unseen bits of why Sherif left."

Andrew Mitchell said: "Unseen bits... how about untold bits, like what happened to Sherif."

Paul Nicholls said: "Everyone hoping we see Sherif on the unseen bits like."

Love Island announced Sherif Lanre had left the villa as a spokesperson said: "After  breaking the villa rules  Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa.”

He broke his silence on Wednesday with an Instagram post addressing his departure from the villa.

Sherif said: "Thank you to everyone including my friends and family for the support I've come back to.

"I appreciate you all and hope I provided some good positive moments  during my time on Love Island and for anyone wondering I'm all good.

"#itiswhatitis #biggerthingstocome."

Sherif said: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.

"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.

"I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.”

* Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2.
