ITV Love Island shake-up confirmed as two new hosts announced

ITV has confirmed a Love Island shake-up as two new hosts have been announced.

Indiyah Polak and Sam Thompson have been confirmed as the new hosts of the show's podcast, Love Island: The Morning After. The two will also join Maya Jama every Sunday as regular panelists on Aftersun.

Indiyah and Sam will be dissecting all the antics in the South African villa as the show returns for its winter series on January 16. Indiyah was partnered with Dami Hope on the latest season of the popular dating show and reached the final.

The 23-year-old and took to Instagram in disbelief as she said she can't wait to get started in the new role. She added: "WHAT A WAY TO START THE YEAR!!! Super excited to announce that I’m the newest Love Island Podcast host with the amazing @samthompsonuk not only that but an Aftersun panellist alongside @mayajama and Sam honestly such a pinch me moment to be back on your screens again!!! Ready for the ride and all the drama."

Sam is renowned for his appearance on Made In Chelsea and is also excited to get started. He said: "It feels like I’m with my family and we’re all in it together and I really like it. We’re all massive fans of the show and it’s really, really nice."
