For a split second Luca Bish had convinced Love Island fans he had an announcement to share about his relationship with Gemma Owen. The pair are currently enjoying a trip away together, just over a week after they finished as runners-up in the ITV2 dating show.
The 23-year-old fishmonger and 19-year-old dressage rider lost out on the Love Island 2022 crown to Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti after making it into the final four couples alongside the eventual winners, Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope, and Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page.
Earlier this week, Gemma revealed that the pair would be briefly ditching the UK after their summer in the famous villa after an 'amazing couple of days'. Speaking to the camera while in the car, the daughter of former footballer Michael Owen, said: "I've had an amazing couple of days, yesterday was so exciting. New opportunities, can't wait."

She also shared how she was in the car waiting for Luca, who was in a meeting. She added: "We're flying out with family and some family friends to shoot some content for OG [Gemma Owen's swimwear brand]." They have reportedly jetted to the Owen family's private villa in the Algarve.
And Luca has already got on the OG bandwagon as he posted a snap of himself with his new-found following to Instagram. Showing off his bronzed tan and many tattoos in a pair of dark grey shorts, Luca could be seen soaking up the sun on a lounger. He captioned the post: " Does this count as our first holiday together or? It’s only right that I wear @ogbeachwear @gemowen_1," referring to Gemma's swimwear brand which she set up prior to heading to Mallorca to appear on the 2022 series of Love Island.
Gemma has also shared her own picture to social media as she puts time into the brand she set up prior to entering the popular dating show. "Little OG content trip," she captioned the gorgeous photo of herself posing on the steps of their holiday complex. The teen could be seen donning a pair of denimn shorts with a silky shirt tucked in which she paired with a pair of silver wedges.

And speaking of Luca, fans are eagerly awaiting him making things official with Gemma after previously saying he 'had a plan' to ask her to be his girlfriend. Teasing his followers, the Brighton-born reality star took to his Instagram Story and shared a video of the pair walking along in the beaming sun.
"Mission 'ask Gem to be my girlfriend'' is in motion,' Luca captioned the post, and in the clip he could be heard saying: "We're going for an evening stroll.... with me girlfriend..." as Gemma grinned behind him. But he soon said: "PSYCH!' suggesting he was just joking and hadn't made the official move just yet.
